Fall Front Porch Decorating

I have had our porch decorated for quite some time now, but I just haven't gotten around to actually taking the pictures and posting them. Tonight, we carved a pumpkin for Jack, which finally completed our front porch decor. I'm pretty pleased with the way things turned out. You can see for yourself.....

The Pumpkin Patch

Today my mom and I took Jack to the pumpkin patch. We went to Breezy Hill Farms in Benton. It is a really cute little place that has hay rides, a corn and straw maze, slides, a petting zoo, snacks, and of course, pumpkins.


When we were finished, I let Jack pick out a pumpkin that we will carve tomorrow night for Halloween. I can't wait! I always loved Halloween as a child and I can't wait for Jack to create his own memories!


Spoiler Alert: Stay tuned for pumpkin carving and costume pictures. Jack is going to be a monkey and Rudi, a banana. Next weekend, to celebrate Halloween, I am having a friends and family get-together with all the appropriate fall "fixins", to include chili, grilled cheese sandwiches, home-made carmel apples, and apple cider! Ahhhhhh.....I can't wait!

Mexico Trip

We got back from our trip late Wednesday night and started back to life as usual on Thursday. We had a great time with the Moseman's, but we were really happy to come home and see our little boy.

The Countdown Is On!

We have less than 3 days until we leave for this place....






....and trust me, we can't wait! However, we are leaving our precious little boy behind who has three sets of grandparents who can't wait to get their hands on him! They probably wish we would leave for vacation more often!


But you can imagine, it's VERY difficult to leave my little boy, regardless of how much fun I know I will have. So this morning, I broke out the camera for a little photo shoot so I could have some current pictures to take with me. Also, I will be taking my computer and the resort has wireless, so you can expect updates and pictures from Mexico!

Boys Day Out

Last Tuesday, Bronson and Jack spent the day together doing some serious male bonding. Grandma and Grandpa were in Las Vegas, so Brons decided to take our little boy with him on a typical busy day.


I got a full update from Bronson and he said they made several trips to the lumberyard, including Menard's and Home Depot twice. They ate lunch at McAllister's and by the time I made it home, they were pushing dirt in the Bobcat. There is no dening my son loves tractors, tools, and working outside with his Daddy. If fact one of his favorite songs is the Menard's jingle.....and I'm not kidding, although I wish I were!
